◆主題:「アクティビティを生み育むパブリックスペースのデザイン」

　豊かな都市生活(Public Life)を過ごすには、豊かな公共空間（Public Space）をつくり、継続することが大切です。どうすればそれを実現できるのか？その場らしさ(Sense of Place)を発見、評価、共有し具現化するための手法を学び、探求します。

　学生同士、学生と教員のコミュニケーションを大切にし、みんなの協働でつくりあげる研究室です。学生は自ら選んだ研究活動を行うとともに、研究室として文献研究やフィールド調査、プロジェクトなどを行います。

◆Main Theme: Design of public space that hosts and enhances public life

 For rich public life, it is essential to create and maintain public space. How can we reach the goal? We research and develop the methods to find the “Sense of Place”, review and share it, and realize it.

 Communications among students, faculty and students are highly respected. Each student selects his/her theme and write research paper or does design project, and also join the team activities such as field survey, research and design projects.
